Resources

Information and knowledge is central to the operation and planned outcome for the Corporation.

The planned outcome for the FRDC

Increased knowledge that fosters sustainable economic, environmental and social benefits for the Australian fishing industry; including indigenous, recreational, commercial and aquaculture sectors, and the community; through investing in research, development and adoption.

Each year the FRDC invests in and completes over 100 projects. Out of these research reports comes a vast bank of material and knowledge – reports, publications, papers, data, etc.

To ensure the information generated has an impact, the FRDC uses a number of mechanisms – ranging from direct involvement in a project, through coverage in FISH and electronic copies of final reports and summary fact sheets.

The resources available on the website will continue to develop over time. If you have suggestions on how the FRDC could better disseminate information to our stakeholders let us know and send us an email frdc@frdc.com.au.
