Welcome to June’s FRDC News
This edition is brought to you from the Country of the Larrakia people of Darwin.
This month the FRDC Board and a group of staff visited Darwin for the June Board meeting and while there, they engaged with numerous fishing and aquaculture stakeholders. It was a great opportunity to learn more about Northern Territory research needs and opportunities.
We’ve also had World Oceans Day (8 June) that is aimed at encouraging people everywhere to celebrate and take action for our shared blue planet as we have one ocean and one climate that connects us all. It’s a great reminder that we are all custodians of this very precious resource.
We’ve got some great stories in June FRDC News – enjoy the read.
